Do I need to be of a certain fitness level / age / size to take a class should i speak to my doctor??

Our Polercise Beginner Intro dance course has been designed for the absolute beginner! Our classes are designed for women of all ages, sizes, shapes, flexibilities and levels. You don’t need to have any regular exercise regime to start classes here. Each class focuses on building your strength and skills needed to go safely to the next level. If you’re really unsure about it, you can try a free intro class first to see how you go.

If you do, however, have any current health related conditions that interfere with normal exercise or you may be pregnant, we will require a certificate from your doctor or physiotherapists confirming you are fit to participate in any of our classes. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions that arise before your next class that might interfere with you participating.we are not medical proffessionals so all medical advice on whether you are fit and capable for pole dancing should be spoken to your doctor before commencement of your course.

Do I need to have dance experience to take a class?

You don’t need to have danced a step ever in your life to take any of our beginner courses and you don’t even need a lot of co-ordination! All of our casual classes are beginners unless specified in the timetable.

What do I wear to class?

We recommend:

Short shorts for all pole levels as various moves require you to grip the pole with your thighs, however, you can wear whatever you feel most comfortable exercising in.

Bare feet are best but you may wear runners or flat dance shoes if you prefer. We do not recommend rubber soled shoes as they provide too much grip and will restrict your movement.

We do not allow students to wear Pole Heels in class until Advanced level.

Please avoid wearing jewellery or any lotion or oil on your hands and body prior to coming to class as it will cause you to slip off the pole.

You may want to bring a bottle of water, yoga mat and small towel. We have change rooms so you can bring your things with you and change here.

Do I need to book for a class or can I just show up?

All classes require booking in advance, Our courses are extremely popular and get booked out very quickly. Our timetables are released prior to courses starting and we recommend you book at least 2-3 weeks in advance to secure you place.

Can I pay as I go?

Unfortunately not we have up front payments for all of our courses, which require a 50% non – refundable deposit to secure your spot at time of booking, balance can be paid on the 1st night of class, the latest for balance to be paid is 1st week of the term.

What if I miss a class or want to discontinue a course?

As we only take a limited number of students to ensure everyone has their own pole, please make sure you can make your class every week for the duration of your course as we cannot guarantee “make-up” classes if you miss one of your lessons. If you miss a class and want to make it up, students must take it upon themselves to attend a catch up class within the week of the missed class if positions are available. Bookings must be made at reception or by contacting us through social media or phone, Please also be aware we are open most public holidays, refer to our timetable to see if your class is running.

Should you wish to stop from participating or finishing the course or classes there will be NO REFUNDS for any reason. There are no refunds on casual classes or workshops; however, if we are given more than 48 hours notice we will transfer the payment to another class.
